DETERMINATION OF LEFT VENTRICULAR
FUNCTION
Comparative Study of Enzymes values and time intervals with
Patients with acute infarction of myocardium with and without
Complications
Stamenkovic Z. et al. Institute for cardiovascular diseases. Novi Sad. Serbia.
The values of enzymes and LVSTI were studied by mechanocardiography with
patients with acute heart muscule infarction and intraventricular conducting
disturbances. The achieved values were compared in the same way vith the
achieved enzymes values and LVSTI wit patients with infarction, but without
complications.
The values of the following enzymes were followed: CPK with 104 patients
(42+60),42 had these disturbances, and 62 werw without them; SGOT with 106
patients (34+72),LDH with 100 patients (32+68),and HBDH with 95,of which 38
patients had these complications, and 57 were without them. The following
systolic intervals were attended: EMS, ET, PEP, ICT, PEP/ET ratio and HR.
There is significant difference in the enzymes values between two groups
(p<o,oo1), as well as the high degree between them for PEP, ICT and PEP/ET for
patients with complications.
The results of the work show that these patients there is a greater degree of
the heart muscle defect, and more careful and longer control of these patients
is necessary.
